Old vines exceptionally matured for one year in oak casks (foudres).
Baron François de la Grange (1554-1617), who became governor of Berry and Knight of the Order of the Holy Spirit.
The Knight of the order of the Holy Spirit considerably contributed to the development of the village of Montigny.
In tribute to this historic character, the Natter Family dedicated this cuvée made of old vines matured for one year in oak casks.
Combining power and complexity, as for strong personalities.
This Sauvignon is harvested at peak ripeness on Montigny’s hillsides. 60 years old vine ! One- year maturation in hundred-year-old tuns. This Sancerre reveals a personal stamp with golden hue. A silky and nervous wine. This cuvée is ample and intense. It offers rich scents and flavors and reveals an aromatic complexity.
